Important Notice: PinSaver is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Pinterest, Inc. "Pinterest" is a registered trademark of Pinterest, Inc. This app is an independent third-party tool developed to help users download and save publicly available content from Pinterest for personal use only.
This Privacy Policy applies solely to PinSaver and covers our data practices. We are not responsible for Pinterest's privacy practices or policies. Users must comply with Pinterest's Terms of Service and all applicable copyright laws.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Download URLs: When you paste a Pinterest URL into the app, we temporarily process it to extract download information. The URL is NOT stored on our serversβit's processed locally on your device.
- User Preferences: Theme selection, quality preferences, and WiFi-only mode settings are stored locally on your device only.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Crash Reports: If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics automatically captures crash logs to help us fix bugs. These may include:
- Stack traces
- Device model & OS version
- Timestamp of crash
- Ad Analytics: Google AdMob collects data to serve personalized ads, including:
- Advertising ID
- App usage patterns
- Ad impressions & clicks
- General location (country/region level, not precise)
- Device Information: We may collect:
- Android OS version
- Device manufacturer
- App version
2.3 Information We DO NOT Collect

4. Third-Party Services

5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the limited data we collect:

6. Your Rights & Choices
6.1 Access & Deletion
- View Data: All your local data is available through the app's settings
- Delete Local Data: Go to Settings β Apps β PinSaver β Storage β Clear Storage
- Delete Downloaded Content: Use the Gallery feature to delete saved pins
6.2 Opt-Out of Personalized Ads
- Open Android Settings β Google β Manage your Google Account
- Go to Data & Personalization β Ad Personalization
- Toggle off "Ads Personalization"
6.3 Uninstall the App
- Uninstalling PinSaver automatically deletes all local app data
- Google AdMob and Firebase will stop collecting data from this device
7. Children's Privacy
PinSaver is not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe PinSaver has collected data from your child, please contact us immediately.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Post the new policy in the app's Legal section
- Request your consent if changes materially affect your privacy
